We’re excited to announce the launch of I Love Scents, our new Independent Scentsy Consultant blog. But more than that, we’re also unveiling a new brand and name for our business! This has been a work in progress for several months and are so happy to share it with you.
A New Name and Brand
Donetta truly loved her previous business name Blessed with Scents. It was a great name communicating the blessing she’d received from becoming a Scentsy consultant nine years ago. It served us well and it’s hard for her to let it go.
Yet as I’ve been getting more involved in the daily business, I felt a new name and brand makeover would be beneficial. As a branding and marketing guy of 30 years, I know the right name and messaging makes a huge difference in business success. So I started the arduous search for a new domain name and discovered ILoveScents.com was for sale.
Because SO MANY people love Scentsy products and the world of fragrances, I though this would be a perfect fit. It’s shorter and a bit easier to remember. Not only that, the name and colors capture our passion for the business. Plus we can have some real fun with the creatives we plan to do in 2021 and beyond.
Overall we just want to take our business to the next level and this was one way to get me fully on board. ; )
A New Blog and Resource
While we’ve had an official Scentsy online store since the very beginning, Donetta and I desire to blog about our business experience as it relates to direct sales. Not only does this help our own team members, it also provides our visitors with honest information about being Independent Scentsy Consultants.
We also enjoy helping people learn about new products or choosing the right fragrances for their homes or offices. I Love Scents gives us a platform to provide additional support that we can’t offer with the online store. Of course we will showcase and link to great Scentsy products we recommend.
There are so many ideas we have for this new website and it will be a work in progress. But long term, we hope it is a valuable resource for others.
What’s next for I Love Scents?
For starters, we’re going to spend more time creating content and developing training videos. This year we want to work even harder to show others how they can earn a living with Scentsy.
So many people are struggling to make ends meet due to Covid 19 and we can help.
Direct sales might not be for everyone but it can provide a part-time to full-time income. You can work from anywhere, and despite the economic challenges our country is facing, Scentsy sales have exploded! 2020 was our best year ever and many consultants experienced incredible financial growth.
I Love Scents also wants to have some fun with our new brand. We’re going to create some stickers, t-shirts, and other fun gifts for our community. We’ll also be sharing our personal thoughts about how fragrances can spice up your love life or possibly help reduce anxiety.
Donetta and I are excited about the future and we hope you are too. There is a lot of opportunity for Independent Scentsy Consultants who truly want to build a lifestyle business.
