Today I’m proudly celebrating my ten year Scentsy anniversary!
It’s hard to sum up the last ten years in a post. It’s also difficult to fully convey what this business means to me after being a part of something so incredible for so long. But I’m going to do my best.
Looking back on ten years.
Ten years ago we had never even used a Scentsy product, but I knew I liked how the company worked and it could be a fun way to make some extra money, so I chose to dive in. It’s hard to believe what I’ve experienced in over a decade in direct sales. Here’s just a short recap.
Making close friends all over the world.
Through attending events, trainings, and incentive trips, I’ve been able to meet people from all over the country as well as from many other countries around the world. Some of my very best friends are people that I met through Scentsy. It’s incredible to be blessed with these friendships. I know people from so many places and walks of life now and it enriches my life so much.
Developing myself personally and as a business woman.
When I started this journey I had never run a business and never even worked outside of the home very much. I was a stay at home mom for 21 years and loved every minute of that. Once my kids were grown I knew I had to find something for myself though. Growing a successful Scentsy business is something I’m so proud to have accomplished.
Growing as a leader and having an amazing team of men and women.
My team now includes people from 25 states in the US plus we’ve had some international team members come in and out over the years. Leading the people in my organization is one of my favorite parts of my job. It brings me such joy to be able to coach others and help them learn how to grow a business and find the success I’ve been able to find. I want others to experience all the blessings that I have.
Traveling all over the world to new places.
This could be a post all on it’s own but one of the biggest blessings that Scentsy has brought us is the ability to travel all over the world. Hawaii, The Bahamas, Italy, Spain, the Caribbean, The Domincan Republic, Mexico, and Disney World are just some places I’ve been. If you know my husband and me at all, you know we love to travel. We’re even doing it full time right now in fact!
Scentsy is a big reason for this and we have been blessed to earn so many trips that we can’t imagine not traveling at this point. It’s in our blood now. And it’s brought us so many amazing experiences – and friends as mentioned above.
Earning a great paycheck every month.
For someone who was a stay-at-home mom and only worked part time a couple of times…this is pretty awesome to be making a regular income! Especially doing something so FUN!
When I set out with this business my goal was to earn $500 a month to help pay down debt – and that was a HUGE goal – something I wasn’t sure could even happen. It didn’t take long before I was making that and more. Now I make a great income, especially when you consider the number of hours I work and how many hours I get to play. 😉
Accomplishing things that I never dreamed I’d have the ability or the courage to do.
One of the things that amazes me as I reflect on my ten year Scentsy anniversary is what I’ve accomplished. Scentsy has helped me in the area of personal development tremendously and I’ve done things I never dreamed I could do.
Besides earning many awards and incentives, I’ve achieved some very big sales goals and graduated from intense training programs. I’ve spoken to hundreds of people at some of our conferences including the main stage at regional training. This is something I never imagined happening.
These are just a few of the things that have shown me that I have more in me than I ever knew. I’m so thankful that Scentsy has brought that out in me and has taught me how to achieve so much.
There’s so much more to say.
I could go on and on about my ten year Scentsy anniversary. lol!
When I started this journey, I never dreamed that it would turn into what it has. I can’t imagine life without it now. It may sound crazy if you’ve never experienced our company or anything like this, but it’s truly one of the biggest blessings of my life and I’m so thankful for it. Mostly because of all the relationships I’ve developed over the last 10 years. Those friendships are priceless to me.

It might not seem like much to place an order or host a party with me but it means everything. Even sending me referrals or words of encouragement is appreciated so very much. Those of you who have supported me in this way have allowed me to grow an amazing, successful business which has enabled me to live the life I had only dreamed of for years. For that I am truly humbled and blessed and thanks doesn’t seem to be enough. But thank you.
Thank you to all of you who have made this journey so special. I couldn’t begin to name everyone and wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, so just know that if you’ve ever helped in any way, my success couldn’t have happened without you.
